A community is in mourning after three children are dead and their father pulled the trigger.Officers were called to a neighborhood where a car was found with four dead bodies.”I have a child of my own couldn’t imagine,” said Amber, who lives in the neighborhood.Neighbors were in shock.”Couldn’t believe it happened, right around the corner,” said Terri, who lives in the neighborhood.The bodies were discovered Saturday morning.”It’s just sad man, the world’s hurting over it,” said Malek, who lives in the neighborhood.The three children, ages 3, 4 and 6, were all killed by their father, according to police.”Three children executed in a car by their father, then turned the gun on himself,” said MSgt. Gary Knight, OCPD.Several people left teddy bears, cards, and candles in their remembrance.”The father is supposed to be the protector of the kids and he went against that in every way possible,” Knight said.Police said the father went to social media to share his plans.”Whatever they were going through was a struggle and I just know those kids are in the hands of Jesus now,” Amber said.The motive is still unclear. “We were doing various things to try and locate them, but ultimately, it was a jogger that passed by and called police and let us know where they were,” Knight said.When police were notified about the video, they began the search.”All I could think about was the mom, what she might be going through,” Amber said.
