More than 120 goats and an emu rescued from a law enforcement case in Dighton, Massachusetts, are now looking for their forever homes, the MSPCA said. The MSPCA at Nevins Farm said their owner failed to pay a judge-ordered bond last month to regain the animals, which were rescued in January. There are dozens of adults and 24 baby goats looking for their forever homes.“We’re hoping that we can find multiple homes that are willing to take on small herds,” said the MSPCA’s Heather Robertson. The MSPCA will work with potential adopters to make sure the goats are grouped to find the right family.Robertson said if you’ve never thought of a goat as a pet, you may want to think again.“They are the funniest, most entertaining animal,” Robertson said. An emu and an adult mustang were also rescued from the same house. The horse was moved to a facility in Maine earlier this year. Jerry the emu is available for adoption.
